The Robert E. Primosch Academic Excellence Award
The Robert E. Primosch Award for Academic Excellence was established in 2018 in honor of Dr. Robert E. Primosch, a former faculty member at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and active member of the Pediatric Dental community in his retirement. Each year, the distinction is given to the graduating resident in each pediatric dental residency program in the State of Florida who achieves the highest score on the AAPD Post-Doctoral In-Service Examination given in the final year of his/her program. The accomplishment is announced and recognized at the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (FAPD) annual meeting each year at which time recipients also receive a plaque to mark their accomplishment.
